Yes!! 6 months sober today! Woohoo! I love sobriety so much. I’ve saved so much money not drinking I am going out and buying a memory foam bed today! Yes, it is important to reward yourself for your accomplishments. Also, now I get to start dreaming about the next reward on that comfortable bed (I’ve been sleeping on an air mattress)! Life IS good!

All I know is that the minute I surrendered and gave up drinking my life completely changed. Never would I have imagined it would be this good!
I love this because what I have come to understand is that the older I get, the more I become aware of how little I really know. Many things have to be unlearned, relearned and learned for the first time! It makes for an interesting and exciting life.
