Sobriety matters so much to me. It allows me to see my virtues so I am not so overwhelmed with my faults. This blog is here to encourage all who want help to seek and find it. Whatever you are suffering from (for me, it is alcoholism) believe me when I say, there is help and hope for us all! All you have to do is surrender and seek a better way!

I always thought I would miss out if I wasn't drinking, that life would be hard and boring. The truth is, life was a lot harder and much more boring while I was using (and I used for 38 years) than it is now. I have so much more fun, my life isn't unmanageable and insane all the time. It is my hope that this blog inspires you to let go of whatever is tearing you apart and rejoice in the freedom of knowing that you are truly loved!
